Soil Resistivity Testing (Wenner Method)
Performed before design or when upgrading earth grids. Measures soil characteristics affecting:
- Earth resistance
- Grid sizing
- Fault current dissipation
Fall-of-Potential Test (3-Point Test)
Most accurate method for substations and electrodes. Used for:
- Substations
- Transformers
- New installations
Clamp-On Earth Resistance Test
The tester Injects signal through the clamp measuring loop resistance of parallel earth paths
Best for:
- Multi-earthed systems
- Live installations
- Maintenance inspections
